I don’t think there will ever be a true definition but I think the closest is people who share, singles or couples. Those that share all enjoy the sharing experience as excitement and no jealousy

There is no such thing as a complete definition of a "true swinger" other than the one we each define for ourselves.

Even the origin of the term didn't apply to couples either - was coined in the 60s after the advent of the free love generation.
