That I am seriously vanilla compared to most folk on here - there’s many many different kinks I didn’t even know about

Also learnt that I like a couple of those kinks..

1. That I am attracted to individuals regardless of their gender

2. The erotic possibilities of the arsehole

3. By editing photos you can create the equivalent of a silk purse out of a sow’s ear

4. I’m capable of very long periods of sexual abstinence

5. If I acted on the opportunities I could become seriously kinky

I’ve come to realise I’m better educated than the majority on here.

I didn’t know that before I joined (although I suspected it).

Does that count? It seems relevant to the thread title.

Fab seems to be a kind of inverted world where characteristics like being intelligent, being attractive, being a healthy weight etc., which are generally considered positive in the real world, are looked down upon, mocked and derided on here.

As someone who's long struggled with her weight, I think things like body positivity can be fantastic. Yes I could stand to lose quite a bit. But hating myself makes it worse. I think ditto any other attribute that attracts social stigma. It's irritating that I'm finally losing weight now I've stopped caring!

It can definitely go too far, though.

So long as body positivity doesn’t extend to stigmatising those of a healthy weight (as it frequently does on here) I agree.

If we are anti body-shaming that should apply equally to all body types.

Good for you for doing that .

Definitely. I only have a problem with people who aren't like me when they put me down for being different, or force the things they want onto me. (or in the case of weight in particular, treat me like I'm stupid for not being under a size X)

from the revolver film script.

This is because you want people to know

how good, attractive, generous, funny,

wild and clever you really are.

"Fear or revere me,

but please think I'm special."

We share an addiction.

We're approval junkies.

We're all in it for the slap on the back

and the gold watch.

The "hip, hip, hoo-fucking-rah."

Look at the clever boy

with the badge, polishing his trophy.

Shine on, you crazy diamond.

Cos we're just monkeys wrapped in suits,

begging for the approval of others.
