The 'body size' tick box reduces people to pieces of meat to pick off a sex conveyor. It causes issues as everyone perceives the body size terms differently.
Would it be better if the body size tick box didn't exist? |

I don't really look at it anyway, and as you say everyone judges size and shape differently, you can't use it as a search criteria, so I don't think it really serves a purpose at the moment. So yes get rid of it  |

Better for some people but not others. Lots of people actually describe themselves by their body shape or size on here. Criticism usually occurs only when certain descriptors are used by individuals to describe themselves, others are feted. |

I rarely look at the body size indicator.
It's like when you try to buy a coat for your dog and the sizes are small medium and large.
A Chihuahua and a Jack Russell are both classed as small.
A Labrador and a Great Dane are both large....
It's subjective.

I don’t know if that many people really do use it as an indicator. I know I never look. I have no idea what I labelled myself as, couldn’t hazard a guess now as I’m so unfamiliar with what the options are. In fact I probably would have went with average if there is one. That meh category that means nothing.
Then again, it’s all personal perception so in reality they all mean nothing. It’s all subjective.
Kinda like buying a house on rightmove. If there’s no pictures, I don’t necessarily believe what the estate agent has written. I’m more a gotta see it to believe it kinda gal
