So i used to be friends with a girl but we drifted and only kept in touch via christmas cards. About 15 years ago she put a note in saying she had moved but no forwarding address. That was about 15 years ago and I have never returned her cards or been in touch with her yet every year a card arrives from her. I recieved it this morning.

Not everyone is on Facebook, and some that are prefer to keep their profiles private and won't appear in searches....
So maybe try an indirect approach...
Put up a status yourself on Facebook asking if any of your friends know her or are still in touch with her, and that you would appreciate it if someone would let her know you couldn't keep in touch or send her cards in return as you never had her new address.
I'm not the biggest fan of Facebook... But for stuff like this, a little social networking is often the fastest way to get results! |
