Women in their 20's are hard work.
I can't communicate with any of them at work - I have no idea what to talk to them about.
I just stay silent and they talk - that seems to be a winner as they only want to talk about themselves

Are talking about their mentality, looks and goal. The are all looks, no substance, full on fakery type.s snapchat, image image image need friends need everyone to like me types...
There is alot of that going around. That is the downside to being in social media. It swallows up personality and churns out clones.
But perhaps you need to change tack and frequent different places from your usual haunts. You maybe surprised that not all are the same..some you might even like.

Do you think your ability to connect with women your own age has been impacted perhaps by chatting to a broad spectrum of women on here? Have you found that chatting with women who have a bit more life experience, maturity and substance about them has made you less tolerant of the inane? That's not necessarily an age thing... There are some fabulously intelligent and deeply interesting women on here in their 20s (QL and Meli for example) that I really enjoy, as are there bland and inane older women that you may struggle to find anything in common with to talk about. It's probably more to do with which qualities attract you to a woman than their age, it's just that at a young age, many are still empty vessels, and will lack the potential to intrigue someone who has a bit more about them...

We probably are a little strange, and I can only speak for myself here but I tend to not be attracted to men my own age because they seem immature (sweeping generalisation, I know) Its rare that I find myself attracted to somebody my own age, unless they are rather exceptional. |

The clue is in Women rather than a woman as in plural! If there are a number of women your age struggle to maintain a conversation you look to the common denominator in each attempted conversation and it's most likely that's the issue/fuckup point or what ever you want to call it. |

You just have to keep looking around until you find someone on your own wavelength.
As a teenager, in secondary school, I found myself more able to converse with teachers than my peers.
The other teenagers only wanted to talk about teenager stuff-that I didn't find very interesting- like boys, clothes and who they didn't like.
I gravitated towards older people who had a little more to say.

As for hashtags, they are supposed to be sarcastic (I know it's often lost over the internet) to show their over saturated use across social media by women my age.

Have you found that chatting with women who have a bit more life experience, maturity and substance about them has made you less tolerant of the inane? That's not necessarily an age thing... There are some fabulously intelligent and deeply interesting women on here in their 20s (QL and Meli for example) that I really enjoy, as are there bland and inane older women that you may struggle to find anything in common with to talk about. It's probably more to do with which qualities attract you to a woman than their age, it's just that at a young age, many are still empty vessels, and will lack the potential to intrigue someone who has a bit more about them...

I think you have to allow the flexibility to talk with people of all ages that attract you. Younger women may use snapchat/IG to talk and converse and take into account the vocabulary. Social media has so much influence on the way people interact. Have to learn to be fluid or seek those that are more on your wavelength. |

There is alot of that going around. That is the downside to being in social media. It swallows up personality and churns out clones.
But perhaps you need to change tack and frequent different places from your usual haunts. You maybe surprised that not all are the same..some you might even like.
