Why email anyone, without checking their profile?
I’m not gay, I’m not well, then he blocks me and gets arsey, because I tell him to read my profile as I have a sore throat...

I get it all the time too, despite having unticked all my interests and 'looking for's. Despite not having uploaded a new photo in 6 months or updating my status in about 3 months. Despite keeping as low a profile as possible (with the exception of sporadic Forum activity), I still get meet requests from men, women and couples, and party invites from people I've never heard of, who have clearly not read my profile.
Not having my 'looking for' ticked should mean that anyone attempting to contact me for the first time will get the 'Wait! This user is not looking for men/women/couples' warning before they're allowed to proceed... Which means they KNOW I don't want their meet request or party invite... But they still carry on regardless. If someone can't respect your mail preferences how the hell can they expect anyone to put themselves in the same room where the word no might equally be ignored?? |
