If you broke from tradition and didn't have a Christmas cake, what would you have instead? Mine would be a ginger cake, a lemon drizzle or a carrot cake mmmm

I'm thinking about making a chocolate orange cake this year. Still sounds xmassy I think but hoping more of our family gathering will be able to enjoy 'xx'

Christmas cake is the epitome of grim. I always have a massive chocolate log instead and eat it till I feel sick

We don’t have a Christmas cake as there’s only me that eats it. So I look for a nice sponge cake that’s decorated Christmas themed x

Hiding in the shadows

My kids don't like Christmas cake, I never did as a child either.

I make a small one for me, but the main cake is Lemon Drizzle.

It still looks like a traditional Christmas cake though
