I can go one better...
I used to go in search of mine, armed with a pair of nail scissors and a roll of tape... Carefully open the end, have a gander and then seal it back up again and pretend I was surprised come chrimbo morning!!
I was a bastard as a kid... Not a lot has changed really..... |

I’ve never done it! Never wanted to ruin the surprise. When I was older I learned my mum and dad kept all the presents at my granny and grandads house. On Christmas Eve at about 10pm they’d go and get them, and wrap them all |

I did that with my PlayStation 1 back in December '96, knew my mum and dad were going to be out all afternoon and I knew they'd got me one, I couldn't hold in my excitement so I searched the house for it, carefully unpacked it, hooked it up to the tv, marvelled at the demo of Die Hard Trilogy and that tech demo of the dinosaur, then packed it all away like it hadn't been touched they never knew and I acted dead surprised on Christmas morning |
