"Regardless of what you think of this. What's the most you've had in a car?
Mine was 8 in a Ford Fiesta
Two in front
4 in back
2 in the boot/hatch.
I was in the hatch. I may have been naked. " I was on a 21 St birthday pub crawl a good few years ago and one of my mates had an old mini-van we had 3 in front and 12 in back and we got pulled over and my mate was ill over coppers boots |

"8 in my first car when I was 17. . Music blaring, fun times. I wonder how I’m still here sometimes when I think back to the things I did!"
And it was a mini! |

My mate used to have a Ford Capri and we all used to pile in to go to an alternative nightclub in the nearby City. We’d have at least three in the front and I remember most times there were six of us in the back plus an incontinent beagle. This was pre seatbelt law days. |

I remember being a kid and travelling in the boot of an estate car which was totally overloaded.
Driver and 4 adult passengers. The front seat passenger and 2 of the rear passengers had a kid on their lap. There were also 4 kids in the boot!
No seat belts worn.
It was a disaster waiting to happen |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
O the days,, smiling reading these I know I've been a passenger and a driver in vehicles who's totally occupancy was much higher than seats, but we made a decision, survived and have great memories. Would I do it now, very possibly. |

I remember trying to get 11 people into a 3 wheeler, which consequently toppled over..
Also an attempt to get as many people as possible into an old style phone box on the same evening |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
I think I was on a tractor with five people, driver, one each side on the footplates, one each side on the hydraulic arms or axle and a sixth guy stood on the drawbar of the trailer! We were carrying straw bales along the famous beech avenue just outside of Wimborne, Dorset and couldn`t ride on the bales because the tree branches would have swept us off! Those who remember an ad for Vauxhall cars about 10 years ago will know the avenue! |
