Over the last few years i've noticed that the people i've met from Stoke and the surrounding areas on the whole have been marvellous. Honest people that are down to earth and friendly.
Of course there are toerags everywhere and i know only too well it has its parts that could contradict my generalisation but in my experience from going clubbing years ago, Shelleys,Entropy,Kinetic,Golden,Essence etc i've been left with high regard to the oatcake munchers.
My thoughts were confirmed with the likes of Phil Taylor the darts player and of course both last nights finalists Andy Hamilton & Ady Lewis, he's not quite the ogre the crowd would have you believe.
And to finalise the football team, lying in 7th/8th place behind the bigger clubs they are performing wonders under Tony Pullis, sorry Valiants but you have to acknowledge what they've done and continue to do.
So here's from us to you. A pat on the back. Big up the Stokies.
