What have you thrown away or sold that in hindsight you should have kept because it's worth money now or for sentimental reasons etc

All my sons power rangers toys. They’re all in again and cost a fortune for the ones we’ve given to the charity shops over the years x

Bitcoin! Sold them off in like 2011/2012, no one could've guessed about the boom last year.

Our sons original Star Wars models including a complete Death Star. Still hopefully the charity shop benefitted.

I was the same, only learned at a later date that you're supposed to play with one and keep another one in a perfect condition but who does that as a kid.

I was given a brand new £1 note by my granddad just before they were taken out of circulation and not long before he died.

I gave it to my parents for safekeeping (because at aged 7 I knew it would be worth something one day)

I asked about it a few years later - they told me they'd exchanged it for a coin! I was fuming!

I threw away at least 70 netball trophies. When I moved house I had no room other than the attic, so I chucked them. Fourteen years of League/County netball. I want them back

I had the same car but my floor went so it was a bit like the flint stones car, great handling and a sweet engine.

I've a dt50 stood in the back of my garage. It's got to have been there the last 15 years. It's only done 1200 miles to.

Wow you must have a big garage for what sounds like a fantastic collection of classic motorcycles.

Very recently I was talking about selling my spinning wheel. I don’t use it very often and it takes up quite a large space. Hubby talked me out of it and I’m so glad he did

I found a carrier bag containing my original Nintendo gameboy plus about a dozen games on Monday when having a bit of a clear out in a forgotten part of the house. I was going to just chuck the lot in the bin but my sister suggested it might be worth taking them to a game shop.

I made a fair few quid from them. Apparently people who had them and got rid years ago want them again. It pays to be a bit of a hoarder sometimes
