Why do you need an 'excuse'? You're both adults, you simply say 'I'm really sorry, but this isn't working for me. I think it's best I leave'

My puppy hasn't eaten since yesterday and the neighbour who had promised to feed her fell ill and passed away in the night and I may have to organise the funeral..... Call me sometime in a fortnight or later |
