So suck it up xx Last time I visited Ipswich I cruised over it at 2,300 feet on my way to somewhere better. I was pilot in command of the aircraft. En route from North Weald to Norwich in a Cessna. The front of a train is very similiar to a cockpit, where did you get the headphones from Argos ? No I think you'll find those are the ones that come with Sony Playstation 4 Well, I couldn’t let that go, so I’ve uoloaded one of me standing by the aircraft... Blue headset was on loan because my David Clark set was on the blink. Anyone else on fab into flying? What a wonderful hobby it is . Unfortunately, not on your scale, hubby loves all things aircraft, but only flies the remote control kind! That's why we go to North Weald for the airshows Good stuff. There’s a regular group of RC fliers based at North Weald. Does he fly his from there? Yes there are, but no, he flies off a piece of land near us, so can go whenever the weather is good. Used to design and build his own, many years ago, but now just flies ARTF, he crashes a lot too...which is why I'm glad he's not a real life pilot! It’s not without risk but safe enough if done properly. I’ve only been properly scared in an aeroplane once (I wasn’t flying, we were three-up departing from a short strip in North Norfolk and nearly ran out of runway ). We lived to tell the tale, and learned from it. Tell him to get himself down to North Weald and book a trial lesson. My brother lives not far from North Weald and keeps threatening to sign up for flying lessons. I'm expecting to visit one day and see a small plane parked in his garden. (I don't know what the correct terminology is for planes that are stationary, on the ground.)" Haha | |||

That’s a good airfield to fly into - the landing fee includes entry to the museum. | |||
