Anyone remember the department stores in and around where you live and their take on Christmas, Grottos, santa etc

I don't recall a store called Lewis's. My dad took us to Debenhams once and they had a sleigh ride to Father Christmas.

When I was a kid I used to love going to Milton Keynes shopping centre as they had a massive Christmas display near John Lewis with animatronic figures etc.

Now a days it's a quarter of the size and they've put in loads of sheds with shops in.

We had two big stores that had brilliant Grotto's, one was John Lewis and the other was George Henry Lee's.
