Arghhh... I thought bringing up kids was supposed to get easier as they got older and wiser.

Have just washed _arambar Jr's PE kit and discovered that not only is half of it missing but the half he does have isn't his and belongs to some others kids in his class.

Does it get any better or should I just resign myself to him growing old but not up....?!?

"He is a teenager and cant pick up his own PE kit?????"

Those were the exact same words I shouted earlier

Academically he's very bright but his 'common sense' gene appears to be deficient.

Just put a pair of your worst pants in his bag, he'll be doing PE in his underwear anyway, he may as well do it in style!!

"He is a teenager and cant pick up his own PE kit?????"

errr yeah happens all the time, certainly did to my son regularly. Always came home with a tshirt that was either 100 times too large or very tiny, never one which was similar to his size.

I know that all he thought about was that it was a garment that was the same colour as his tshirt, so he may as well have that one.

It sounds like he's ready for the "if you have to nick someone else's shirt, nick one that's better than ya own" father-son chat.

Give the lad a break, it's male hormones.

Gonna be a long time before he is settled and acts rationally. If ever.

Are you sure that they weren't yours and that using your son was an ideal and opportunistic way of shifting the blame lol

Funniest thing my son did, you got to take in mind he was spotlessly clean and would have at least two baths aday.

He went on a school trip for 5 days and i put all brand new toiletries in his bag, when he got home nothing had been touched so i asked him why he replied oh none of us bothered having a wash it wasnt cool

If you're inclined to tell someone to 'grow up' you should take a LONG look at your self in the mirror and think about what it means to be a human being.

If you're an ADULT and still confined by the mentality of 'rotations around the sun = maturity and wisdom" either A)Throw your self off a high cupboard or B) Read more and do more.

Maturity is a ridiculous concept and should be abolished.

Take a look at taoism and see what you think about telling people to 'grow up'.
