Hello community!

Just wondering what the British women and couples think about meeting foreign people.

This because (this is my personal thought) foreign people are not able to maintain a proper conversation (in English) and because of this, someone may get bored?

I have met a lot of foreign people and unless one of us didn't speak a word of the other's language conversation without feeling bored has always been possible.

The ones I have met can maintain a proper conversation better then us. Even if they have limited English.

The language barrier is not something I take into account unless we would need to use a translator, but that has never happened.

The things important to me to start with are:

Personality

Character

Sense of humour

Banter

Personally, if I couldn't have a conversation with someone, I wouldn't be interested. I have a few languages that I can converse in at a basic level and if someone interested me enough, I wouldn't view fluency as a barrier, but if there was absolutely no commonality of language, my mind wouldn't be stimulated enough.

I met a couple of Russian girls in my hotel in Paphos a couple of years ago, one of them spoke no English and the other a little bit, we still had a great time on several nights out together on the holiday and spoke the universal language of booze I'm still in touch with the one who spoke some English and she gets me to help her with her kids English homework

I am foreign myself. Also met a lot of people who would be classed as foreign by a lot of English people. Being foreign as such is not an issue, although belonging to certain cultures may be.

And of course you were made to sign a contract and promise to never have conversations with anyone you meet through the site.

You forgot the bit about it having to be witnessed by a notary public and published in a government gazette.

I am foreign. I am a non-native English speaker.

Last time I checked, I could communicate perfectly with other English speakers and even corrected them when writing “your” instead of “you’re” or “defiantly” instead of “definitely”...

The use of ‘foreign’ people always makes me cringe.

Many people who’s first language is not English tend to have better written English than many on this site.

So true.

That’s because they have had to actively learn English as a second language and aren’t a product of the crap U.K. education system .

The non native speakers I have met have all said the hardest thing they find is understanding sarcasm, subtle shades of meaning, idiomatic English etc.

I've met loads of foreign people. It's not really an issue if your just having dinner and sex.

After a while though if you want to take it further it gets frustrating and pointless.

I have recently found despite knowing language or being from the same country most of people don’t even know how to communicate anyway. For example setting certain rules like “do’s” and “don’ts” or even showing what they like. It’s just if you have attraction and you are naturally charming you won’t really need to talk much while having sex however if these two mention qualities are not there and there is language barrier it’s not looking good

I don't get there things gramaticly correct. I used to teach foreign infants ABC and dolche sight words.

English doesn't make much sence because the spelling patterns are all from different languages.

It's really not that important to be anally retentive about grammar and spelling perfectly all the time unless it's a formal piece of work.

In hear people who correct my grammar will happily start sentences with "And" and "But".

Internet forums are hardly formal enough situations to go through a person's grammar with a fine tooth comb. Especially if your discussing something important like history and some grammar Nazi is preocupied by some grammar mistakes you made.

Frankly it shows they are very petty and unable to discuss the topic so they resort to minour unrelated things.

It irritates me because I use an old phone and often don't notice a typo or faulty correction before I click send.

People are people, doesn't matter what nationality they are... For better or worse.

The ones we've met have been great fun, living life to the full with a great attitude to life. That's in vanilla life and on here, they are simply lovely people who we consider to be friends.

Poland is a good country and culture.

Many of us prefer women from countries like Poland anyway.

Poland doesn't like socialism like women in UK.

My grandad was from a place on the border of poland/Ukraine. Grandma is German.

I would genrally pick a polish girl over an English girl simply for cultural reasons.

Lots of young English women are socialists/anti nationalist/left wing marxists so I would rather date a standard polish girl.

Obviously some lovely English women...

(Mostly up north)

Some nice decent women...

But the women in eastern europe/west africa/parts of asia

They have more indipendent political views...

And they don't repeat the NHS/bbc/msn/3rd wave femenism = Marxism stuff

Eastern Europe and Asia eg thailand/Poland They are often right wing nationalists

They don't embrace the ideas I don't like. They are more like-minded politicly to British conservative men...

a block away from heaven

I’ve wondered the same OP. With such emphasis based on a persons ability to construct the perfect message it must be difficult for those not fluent. Also what about those with difficulties like Dyslexia?

I would fear that by excluding people because their mother tongue is not the same as mine, would mean I could miss out on the fun of learning something new or trying something different.

I think I’m one of those weirdos that could actually find it a turn on. Hopelessly trying to communicate verbally with someone, failing to understand a word each other is saying. Then after all that jumping on each other because you found each other attractive in other ways; not so bad in my opinion!

If it is sexual preference to someone to only play with someone who speaks the same language then that is preference I suppose!

Speaking from the Foreigner part of this equation, I can safely say that all British women I have ever met had no difficulty understanding me, but then again I’m a bit of a polyglot; speak 4 languages.

I didn’t learn them in school, it was my desire to want to communicate with the foreigners around me at the time, a thirst for knowledge that made me spend countless hours in front of a stereo, singing the lyrics on vinyl covers and then translating them with a dictionary, the only tools available to me in a bygone era that didn’t feature internet.

I think there’s one very important aspect of communication that people tend to overlook and that’s that communication isn’t always verbal.

Some of the best sex I have ever had was with a deaf woman, she could lip read as most deaf people can but had difficulty doing so when wearing a blindfold, or fucking outdoors at night, or indeed anytime I took her from behind.

She taught me something I had no idea about, a foreigner’s lip movement is ever so slightly different to those of a native speaker, giving a whole new meaning to “foreign accent”.

Wow, guys, it took me a while to read all the messages.

Don't misunderstand my words, all the people that I met so far were really friendly and they understood what I was saying (or I hope lol). This is just my thought and my curiosity which comes in my mind after reading some fab profiles.

Now I know this is not that kind of website where we meet to talk but, I like to use my tongue to talk first and then to do something else.

The silent sex or the "fuck and go" meet may be a good turn on but is not my style, I'd rather prefer to know what a woman likes before to know her "in deep"

"Hello community!

Just wondering what the British women and couples think about meeting foreign people.

This because (this is my personal thought) foreign people are not able to maintain a proper conversation (in English) and because of this, someone may get bored?

Do you think that because people don't understand what you're saying?

Some of us foreign people are just fine with written and verbal communication.

Mrs"

No Mrs, I think they understand me but, of course I'm not able at the minute to seduce as I'm able in my native language

I could point out your grammatical errors, but won't. That would just be a bit boring really(and you may not appreciate it; I'd hate to offend you).

Reading your post presumably you are asking this from the basis of being a non British fabs member?

Generally the visitors to the UK have had better abilities to communicate here than the UK citizens visiting countries abroad where English isn't the primary language. I like the interest meeting with foreign people and find the sex and general level of relationships to be great.

Just to make you laugh, this is a conversation between me and a girl who contacted me in private about this topic:

Girl: "I would never meet anyone unless they were white and English.should stick to our own"

Me:"May ask you why?"

Girl: "because if they all got sent out our country the housing and jobs problems would be sorted"

Me:"Let's agree to disagree...Are u sure? So are you a doctor?"

Girl: not answer back...

She must have taken the Brexit BBC TV spot to much serious, don't you think?

"I am foreign. I am a non-native English speaker.

Last time I checked, I could communicate perfectly with other English speakers and even corrected them when writing “your” instead of “you’re” or “defiantly” instead of “definitely”...

If I like someone and there is communication that's understandable and limits rules are understood then why not meet them if you like them I do.

I'm foreign .. eski that is and I'm pretty sure I can hold a conversation... Well I do when I'm out in clubs at least. I couldn't care less about nationality, race, creed or breed. If we connect mentally then I am more likely to end up in a room doing the naughty stuff than any other reason. I've had amazing conversations over the years with people from all over the world and if English is your second language as it is with me then all I think is that it takes intelligence and patience to learn a second language or more. So if you have the brains to learn a second language then there should hopefully be more where that came from....

I don't even try. Being foreign AND a linguist (trained to teach English, no less) is a curse.

Being foreign or not is not the issue im original from Portugal and the language never stoped me..i think its more the way you come across towards the people you chat to.take your time to talk and be polite and dont expect to go on a meet after 2 messages.

Well, to be honest my nickname is in Arabic and it means "Amore Mio" (this is what I've been told) but, how do you know I'm Italian?

I purely depends of the person. Language difficulties and/or cultural differences may sometimes cause difficulties. So like everything it's a case case issue of how you can communicate and understand each other. I know many people in enviroment are wary of new people whos English is poor because this could cause misunderstandings of consent.
