How do you define 'timewasters'?
People should expect to interact with many more people than they will ever meet, whilst each side evaluates compatibility - and most won't make the grade. This will cover physical attraction, sexual interests, availability and many other aspects. Most people won't reply to say 'no thanks', but no reply should be taken to mean exactly that.
If you have a confirmed arranged meet and people don't turn up - thus wasting invested time etc, then report to Admin.
Otherwise, take a search on forum topics, as there's good advice that's been posted over the years. My advice is to chat intelligently, including by phone or cam, so that you can better evaluatate people, than just by written text. When arranging a meet, agree a schedule of when you'll re-confirm progress and attendance and get them to confirm what they will do: this makes them actually think it through and double checks their own decisions etc, rather than passively agreeing to everything that's offered. |
