A favourite saying of mine, so why when I pull into a Tesco petrol station do I turn into a penny pinching miser.
And its all because I have a clubcard, I just needed a splash of diesel to save me having to get some tomorrow.
£15 should do it, slowed down approaching that figure and stopped it at £15.01, oh I won't get anything for that penny so I'll have £16, I eventually managed to stop it on a round pound at £25.
I spent £10 more than I wanted to, to gain a whole 10p, what a spanner!!    |

Yeah, but at least you'll use the petrol.
The ones that bug me are the '2 for a fiver' deals. My Mum always points them out and I point out that one costs less than a fiver. Probably a good deal for large families but not any good for me. |
