...to have a bottle of wine?

Can't have one tonight as am on earlies this week and feel the need to chill with some wine on the sofa (HUGE personal issue right now - not just wanting to be a pisshead)

So what do you reckon?

I don't want to be the boring sensible one, but is medicating emotional pain with alcohol a great idea? Can you talk to a friend or do a hobby you enjoy instead?

The fact that you've asked this means you're asking for help in a roundabout way and I'm not sure you'll find peace in the bottom of a bottle.

Hope you feel better soon OP x

Today wine is the answer ... I'm tired of bothering my friends about it... They have been brilliant but the last 24 hours have been doubly testing and this week is going to be the worst so just for one day I'm going to indulge myself before I go back to being the strong one who is working very hard

to support everyone else involved x

For the record was trying to point out the, while a lovely suggestion, it wouldn't work to cheer you up because of your dislike of the festive period and people shouldn't assume chrismas is magical for everyone. But hey... Jump down my throat if it makes you happy.
