Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.
Happy Saturday.
Good heavens it's rather chilly out . Soon be time to get the thermals out and on . The hills can be quite cold at tjis time of year .
I've borrowed the premise for this thread from the excellent Danny Baker show on 5 live .
So have you seen a Famous Person in a mundane place or doing what us non celebrities may think normal
I saw one of the Housewives of Cheshire rummaging through the mark down section of a local supermarket . On the same day I saw Denise Welch of Loose Woman Fame buying a sandwich

Shared a lift up to the Sky Lounge in the Doubletree in Leeds with Andy Gray, Charlie Nicholas and Jim White. |

Have had a few myself down the years:
Gary Mabbutt (Spurs player) lived in the village I grew up in and would often see him out walking his dog.
Frank Bruno at a services on the M1 with the bonnet up on his Bentley (or might have been a Rolls) trying to figure out where to put brake fluid.
Zoe Ball got out of a black cab I hailed on Oxford Street for an American colleague who had no idea who she was.
Billy the electrician from DIY SOS out shopping |

Just remembered another couple:
Rory McGrath on Kings Cross station, he asked me the time, I asked him the Arsenal score (in the hope I could laugh at him because they'd lost).
Jenny Bond sat on the floor of the packed commuter train I was on.
One of the original Dragons Den dragons (Doug something who is now disgraced) sat opposite me on a commuter train. |

John Bradley (aka Samwell Tarly from Game of Thrones) whilst waiting for a train at Euston. Asked him for a picture (which he was more than happy to take). David Morrisey on the way to see a band at a festival (didn’t realise it was him until a couple of minutes later) |

"Saw Mr Bronson of Grange Hill fame at the time he was starring in the programme, buy an ice cream whilst house hunting here. "
Oh that's just reminded me of another Suzanne Tully (of Grange Hill and Eastenders) stood behind her at a UB40 gig and the blokes behind me kept pestering me to offer her a drink which I eventually did (to shut them up) she politely declined. |

quite scary that... i've know suzanne tully since i was in my teens thru a friend that got a part in grange hill... she is actually really lovely...
anyway i once had the please of sitting on a table in first class on a train from newcastle to london opposite sugar ray leonard.... fantastically lovely chap! all the boxing fans were gushing and all of the women were wondering what the fuss was about!!!!
also sat in first class with will young... honestly i can say there may not be a nicer person on the planet..... he had a concert in newcastle and travelled up from london and literally paid for his enoutage and backing singers to all be upgraded from standard to 1st!.... and he has a sing song on the train, it was like a private concert in our carriage! |

I have seen either getting onto or off an airplane at an airport.
Dom Jolly,
Frank Carson,
David Soul,
Claudia Schiffer,
Angelina Jolie,
Princess Eugene.
It might be exiting to some, but after working there for 16 years it loses it sparkle. |
