Anyone else have this condition? I've been diagnosed today, after 3 years of sporadic heart palpitations. Had full bloods and an ECG, waiting an appointment for an echocardiogram

My Dr said he wouldn't put me forward for electric shock treatment, because he said it has a tendency to come back.
He said it could be thyroid (I have a tremor) or it could be dodgy heart valves,he said it's rare for someone my age (44) to develop it without an underlying cause.
I had full bloods last time I went because of my tremor and everything came back fine.
He didn't really give me any long term answers, just gave me beta blockers and said wait for echocardiogram and blood results to come back before talking long term control/treatment.
Got to see the Dr again in a week...
Damn he was fit, and felt kind of conscious of standing in my bra in front of him
