It’s funny, I never realised what we learn teach ourself over the years to do, I design ways to manufacture products from drawing board to reality including project managing manufacturing
But I can also sketch, paint, I’m ok with wood, I have converted garages and built porches, summer houses ( from scratch) plumbed 4 bathrooms, fitted 4-5 kitchens, basic mechanics, gardening, decking , electrics, and white good repairs wall tiling, painting and decorating, laminate flooring, even fitted double glazed windows... even thatching roofs ( my father was a master thatcher as was his father before him)
But I can’t build anything with bricks useless st it, what you like can you turn your hands to much? |

Mechanics, stripped and rebuilt engines, pretty good at fault diagnosis as well.
Built my own studio from scratch, timber framing, electrics etc.
Mostly because I used to hate paying other people to do things I could do myself, nowadays i'd rather have the time to do other things more productive
Not bad on the bass guitar |

I'm not particularly good at DIY but I can play a guitar, I can type pretty rapidly and I'm a bloody good shot with a rifle if that counts?
My dad was absolutely brilliant at scale models though, not just the building part but the incredible detail in the painting. |

Embroidery, sewing, crochet, calligraphy, growing things, miscellaneous craft type things.
I couldn't list the things I've grown, made, repaired and altered here.
I also help Mr N as builders mate while he renovates our house. There isn't much he can't do from electrical to laying floors. He's pretty good at cars too.
I can mix concrete with one of those giant hand held mixer things but I hate it |
