Fabsteroos....

Good afternoon on this wet cold day.

This week I bought the most expensive pair of designer shoes and I have spent every evening since just looking and touching them, wearing them to watch TV etc. They are so deliciously delicate I dare not wear them outside.

Anyway I got to thinking today, I’m so in love with these shoes that what would it feel like to wear them whilst being devoured by a special lover? Combine two passions into one big passionate moment or two or three....or even hours.

Has anyone experienced this kind of passion and what was it like?

For those who want to add negative derogative comments, I’m not this indulgent or extravagent, the shoes were a lifetime purchase for a very very sentimental reason

Thems "Fuckin' Shoes" lady!

Good for you and yes- I have some. But mainly because they are so ridiculously high I can't walk in em! So the only thing to do is lie back down!

Edited to say mine cost 8 quid from the charity shop though!

Fourth pair of heels I ever bought we’re a proper ‘hallelujah’ moment because they are a lovely pink sequined affair which go with a lot of different outfits. I got a similar feeling from my PVC black platform heels which look amazing and feel great to wear but because of being 6” I can only wear for a maximum of 2 hours before foot death

I tried on some Louboutins but they were very low down the heel and I tripped over in the shop in them.....then I discovered Manola Blahnik and they are gorgeous so I got them.

Time to save up for another pair I think...

Top tip for quality shoe lovers who are too tight to buy at retail prices. The Cheaney factory shop is in Desborough, Northamptonshire. Factory rejects but you will not find the flaws yourself. I bought a pair of Chelsea boots for £100 when retail was £300

My ex was a big shoe fan

A 'cheap' pair for her were from Russell & Bromley

Her first pair of Manolos she bought in their New York branch

I can't remember how much exactly, but I know it was in the thousands rather than the hundreds

She said it added to the extravagance

I don't get it, but I'd never deny anyone the things that they enjoy, provided they had the £'s to fund the extravagance
