You seem to be under the misunderstanding that to disagree with your anti police sentiment means a whole bunch of things other than disagreeing with your anti police sentiment. That’s daft. |

Fatalistic attitudes certainly don’t help. I wholeheartedly disagree with you. It saddens me that you really believe people can’t effect change. You can effect change. You have direct impact on the people around you. Believe in yourself and your power to do good. |

The ironic thing is. The same people who make these kinds of comments are usually the first people to call the police if something goes wrong.
The police just can’t win.
People need to change their own behaviours and attitudes and then the estates will change. People just like to pass the buck and put the blame on others, when in fact they play a massive part.

So OP, if someone comes round in the middle of the night, ties you and you family up, then burgles you and ransacks your house, what are you gonna do about it? Just shrug your shoulders and say, Oh well, shit happens? |

Nope.
Still stunned silence here.
And they say there is no link between literacy and intelligence? It would appear there may be, in this case at least.
Just how would your "no police" society work then? |

No more stop and search, so people can carry drugs or blades without fear of getting caught.
No more house searches for drugs or blades, so they can sleep soundly in their beds at night.
I'm guessing, anyway. |

So how would you make sure people didn't go off the rails and do whatever they wanted. No police means no consequences right? |

"It all sums up the broken society that we all find ourselves in...."
Quite sad really, that people feel the need to live with that attitude... It paints today's society in a very bleak light.
Sure, it's not isolated to London or major cities, but honestly, it's not all "broken". We can still find pockets of hope and good. We just need to deal with the broken bits but also concentrate on the good.
Just be kinder. The world needs more kindness. |

"2 days ago 4 boys stabbed one aftet another shot gun was pulled out day befor that 2mins up the road anoyher stabbing this is what London has become "
And you feel handcuffing or beating up a police officer will help prevent these crimes?
And London is not ALL about gun and knife crime... There are lots of good, positive things going on in London.
Maybe you just mix with the wrong people if that's all you see?
Try to find an outlet for that despair, put your energy to good use.
By the age of 31 I would have hoped you were mature enough to show respect to those who are there to uphold the law.

Your area is just buildings. The people who live in it make it what it is, and that determines how the police react to it. |

I see two sides to the police and policing
1) When in work clothes and coming home, I see a polite engaging group of people
2) When at football jeans, top, retro addidas, I see a bunch of bully’s and antognits
Whilst I respect the job that they do, their hands are tied by beuacracy, lack of funding. For me it is the inconstancy in policing
Example....
Notting Hill carnival it’s ok to drink and party on the streets. United playing Chelsea beer gets conviscated and poor down the drain. Same borough.
If adults done things some kids do especially in my borough they would be nicked and chucked in a jail cell. As they are kids police turn a blind eye not to upset community relations
More bobbies on the street is what I say |

When I was the victim of domestic violence, one police officer still sticks out in my mind. He made the difference. There are many good police officers. |

That's not down to police though is it? Is it not the councils decision regarding where and when drinking can raid place?
Unfortunately some football fans spoil things for others. I've heard of football matches at the dons in Milton Keynes not serving beer to football fans but when the saints play rugby there the beer flows freely. Same stadium. |

Is that because they stop people like you causing crime? Then you cry when you get searched and pull the race card.
The cities are full of little scrotes who think they can do as they please.
There is nothing wrong with a bit of police brutality when the person asks for it |

Yes this is true. There is a law against watching football in site of the pitch and that does not apply to rugby. Seen cases where football fans have been banned from stadia because they didn’t realise that law was different
Also there is a law that states you can’t drink on a mini bus or coach to a game. However if your on your way to stag or hen party say In Blackpool the law doesn’t apply
I see a lot as I follow closely clubs and policing issues with football fans |
