I switch mine off. I'm not interested in anyone near me, and have always preferred a connection to proximity. Even if that connection may be in a distant part of the country or another country. Others may or may not do the same.

Mine is. There’s maybe a handful of women near me at most.

And there are more men on fab than women. So there will always be more men near you

You can also choose to search by those that meet your preferences. So if you don’t have men as a preference then it cuts them out.

Mines always turned off though!

Plenty of women near me but unfortunately none I'm interested in. A couple of them are hot looking but going by their updates and profiles they seem a bit mental

Its not it varies area by area from 15 to 40 men to women its not as high as 100:1 where do you get that figure from?

I never look at who’s near. If I did I would expect more men than women.

It more than likely because of tge ratio of men to women on fab.

If you're a site supporter you can filter the 'who's near' to show only those who meet your preferences
