Verifications

I thought they were present just so we can 'verify' that the person is real.

However if I was to leave a veri saying "this person is real" I don't feel like it would go down too well.

People are getting to fancy with their verifications and it just seems like everyone was the "best meet" and "not one to miss" or "fun in and out of the bedroom"

Veri's don't seem to help me much.

Anyone else think the same or am I just waffling utter jibber jabber

I don't read them or display them

I rarely give them but if asked i generally say they definitely look like their pics and they turned up.. that's all you need isn't it?

We don’t mind verifications, they tend to congruently back up our preferences, don’t think we would meet a, sucks like a Dyson-keep all to myself- respect her, type people.

I did one of those over the summer for someone who needed a veri to get an event invite.... He was huuuugely unimpressed and demanded that I redo it

Yes they have become like trip advisor reviews rather than simply ‘verifying’ per se, however it is useful to get to know the person (s)

Although they *are* supposed to be purely a verification that someone is real - I actually quite like sending/receiving ones that provide a flavour of the meet (whether that be social or otherwise) as a kind of short form reminder of that meet - nothing gushy or over the top (and definitely not graphic) just something that is a little personalised and hints at what may (or may not) have happened.
