Or just man. It really doesn't matter if you're black or white. Who was it who said that now? |

I had a guy offer a bbc in his first message to me. I replied politely with a no thank you. His second message accused me quite strongly of being prejudiced. I'm not but now wished I'd been impolite by not sending a polite rejection. |

I like sex with people I'm attracted too. I have no interest in any man who thinks his cock is all he has to offer.

I wouldn't say its racist saying coloured. Its a generation thing, when black people use to be called coloured. My old man is in his 80's and he still says coloured, however its not my terminology that represents myself. |

“Coloured” really grates on me and is incredibly old fashioned. |

I'd be interested in your opinion of Americans who dislike the term "black" and use "African-American"? There's something about AA that I find very cringey but i struggle to articulate why if I'm honest. |

I agree.
I’m not a fan of the term “African American” at all, in my opinion it’s like they’ve come up with a “nicer” or “softer” way to say black.
You wouldn’t say “Caucasian American” or “Anglo Saxon” for example!
Black/White/Asian is perfectly fine in my book. |

Yes, i struggle to articulate my objection because i realise I'm a little inconsistent. I don't like the term "yellow" for my wife. It doesn't offend me, it just doesn't seem very accurate and sort of creates a mental picture of Lisa Simpson. I wouldn't really cringe at British-Nigerian (for example) either, if the person was born here but half their family are still in Nigeria so they travel there and are deeply connected to both cultures. But only 36% of Americans even hold passports, so I'm sceptical how many have much deep affiliation with a culture outside of America... |

How is calling yourself BBC racist? It’s just a descriptive term, a cringe one at that.
You can treat everyone with the same respect, but whilst doing so understand we all have our differences from the colour of our skin, to the size of our clothes & the length of our hair.
It’s funny that guys who decide to label themselves “BBC” on here, tend to get quite a few men’s backs up. I wonder why? |
