It's not vile, nasty stuff just he said she said but it's becoming more and more frequent. I don't mind sharing my opinion about someone I know but I keep it to truthful and practical stuff and would never share confidences. I hold all this stuff and I can't get rid of it.

Exactly that!! Vile nasty stuff is usually easier to ignore as it often comes from a vile nasty place and has no real substance or meaning other than anger - the he said/she said is harder to deal with though as it's on a more real level and can at times put you in a difficult position.

Being piggy in the middle can be very isolating. Take a breath and a step back if the contact is toxic, don't let them add any further to your distress. Be a little bit selfish and get you smile back
