So lots of people do this, name 5 celebs or known people you feel are going to kick the bucket next year

Ff sake pal I’ve been through hell and back this last few months I have cancer,the death clock is very likely ticking for me TBH
But I’m not having a laugh at others expense, The death clock is a real thing people put in a £1 a week when somebody’s dies if their listed that person takes the accumulated pot |

Wether it's a "thing" or not, it's still very distasteful.
I wouldn't like to think I was on a list like that.
I can think of better sweep stakes to put my money on! |

No because women are generally ignored by the media once they get past a certain age which is long before they reach the age of being likely to die. |

We used to do this at work and as a bit of an incentive it cost £5 to enter and the money went to whoever’s nomination croaked it that year.
There was about 20 of us in the “celebrity deathwatch sweep” and you were allowed to nominate two celebs.
If no one won then the pot rolled over to the next year. So on the day that Princess Diana was killed guess who was a couple of hundred quid richer?  |

Surely you are old enough to remember the Dirty harry film "Dead pool", or the more recent film "Dead pool".
I mean a marvel super hero is named after the concept. It's been a harmless bit of black humour fun since forever. |

I had a feeling this year would be my mum's last, and I was right.
It's been sad but she was almost 87 and had had enough.
It's sadder when people die before they reach old age or succumb to a horrid illness.
I'll add that our little Cockney Sparrow Barbara Windsor hasn't been too well lately, so I'll put her name down. Phillip hasn't been looking too well but he seems to be a fighter. |

Loafs of people take part in these death pools. I'm pretty sure that fabio used to organise one on here a few years back?
It probably is a bad taste but the reaction of many on this thread highlights perfectly how we strugglexpect to accept death as a key part of life |
