Depends on which one, lol.
Of the most recent significant ex (whom I split with in January 2010) I can say this.....
If I ran over her in my car, I'd have to reverse to finish the job.
I wouldn't piss on her if she were on fire.

"If your ex Fell on hard times and rang asking for help, roof over their head and you had the space.
Would you take them in help them out ?"
No, my last ex was from when I had just turned 14 and he used to beat the fuck out of me for being ‘fat’ and ugly. I was a size eight. Nope nope nope. |

Interesting thread OP.
"No way . She would do my head in "
Same here, but I would still help if I can.
My good nature probably contributes to my downfall on occasions.
I try to focus on the happy memories even in the most difficult times |

Hell no. I'm not their safe refuge after they for whatever reason chose to leave me and our relationship. And ditto the same point if I'm the one who dumped her in the first place. Why would I for any reason take her back even for shelter? |

The last one, yes I would. He’s got mental health issues and I have managed to go from hating him to feeling sorry for him. I have a lot more knowledge about his conditions now and manage to remain amicable and civil with him when he gets in touch from time to time. |

The most recent, without a doubt, the first one I'd help with a muddy hole. |
