Unusually for me- I want to rant about cancer and how hard grief is.
It's exactly a year since I lost my Dad, and even though we weren't particularly close, it seems to be getting harder for some reason.  |

Curtain twitches we can do nothing about other than ignore.
The report functions there for a reason.

And it gives Government time to do their due diligence and it right.

People who don't understand slip roads. Either the ones who try and enter the motorway/dual carriage way at about 33mph. Or those on the main road who rather than change lanes, put the anchors on and let the slip road driver merge in front, when there was no need at all. |

I ranted on the job thread - ooooppsss
But had a mid year discussion that was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot, aparantley I haven’t taken anything on board since my end of year in March.(actually in June)
I have actually but I felt like saying when you have 3 times more work to do, no one to delegate too, no support and being outed in meetings about fuckups that you were not trained in or explained anything about
Also when you off for nearly half of October, half of June and covering shit on your own for August as your line manger is on holiday, I was like well when am I supposed to do to get these things done
What my people manger doesn’t see is the ownership of meetings, regular updates and flexibility to work outside of working hours that I have taken on board, and driven. Oh well today is another today. I suppose I can spare 45 mins evry Thursday to go to vat catch up meetings

It's a weekly occurance at one of my jobs.
Tonight PJ's, fluffy socks, face mask, hair gunked up with intensive conditioner.
Snuggled up on the settee, Marvel marathon night with my son then get call asking why I've not turned up for my shift that started 20mins earlier!
