Never had a tooth ache ........
Never had a filling.....
Went to the dentist after 7 - 8 years a while back thought Ild have a check up....
They said I wasn’t registered there ..... I knew that was my dentist I had been before....
My files was out in the archives we discovered......
Ain’t been back since everything was fine an that was a few years back
Feel for you tho mate unfortunately my ex girlfriend suffered bad after our daughter was born....
Had lots of sleepless nights with her an it wasn’t my pain.....
See her in plenty of agony.....
So a man hug to you mate

Sounds awful, hope it starts healing soon and the pain subsides.
I'm petrified of the dentist, last went 9yrs ago - I needed a filling, 4 wisdom teeth out and a cracked tooth refilling though it might break altogether - I didnt go back, but am off there next week  |

Been there it's extremely painful they usually repack it and put a stitch in to hold the gum together while it heals.
Mine lasted about 6 weeks but that was due to it being the bottom jaw and I'm diabetic so reduced circulation causes very slow healing.
You really have my sympathy the only thing I have had more painful was a eardrum burst following a ear infection. |

Ouch!
I've had a dry socket and it's so awful 
You need to get yourself to a supermarket and get some clove oil.
Dip a cotton bud in it and then gently apply it around the socket as many times as you need to until you can see a dentist.
It's vile but so much better than the pain.

Sympathy for you took 4 weeks for mine to calm down even tramadol did nothing dentist said it will get worse before it get better ? wished I had left the tooth in .

I've experienced that. Had to go back to dentist and they packed it with an antibiotic plug thingy. Most excruciatingly painful thing I've ever endured. On a scale of pain I'd say it's up there with labour pains. |

Oh man, I feel your pain. I had that earlier in the year. Dry socket is worse than childbirth. I sincerely hope you get some relief soon. You will have to go back to your dentist for some medication. |

Sympathies OP. Dry socket is one of the worst pains I ever experienced. Weeks of agony. Get back to your dentist ASAP, don't wait until next week, because even the treatment will take time, and delaying it will only prolong your pain. |

It's very sad that anyone has to suffer with cancer, but your comment is harsh. The OP is in severe pain. Is it really so wrong that he is wanting a little sympathy? It costs nothing to be nice. |

Uncalled for, I empathise with you as I am looking after my sister in law with terminal cancer, spent all Tuesday in Royal Marsden hospital in London. This person is in severe pain and nothing worse than dental pain, so have a little sympathy  |
