It does come to an end, as I said around 19 or so. I think it depends a bit on your reaction to the strop and their general maturity. If you remain reasonable and don't give in to daft demands or drama (our daughter once collapsed to the floor when I refused to allow her to do something  ) they eventually learn that mature discussion works better. Oten going in to full or part time work makes them grow up a bit and realise that they need to be a bit more reasonable.
I don't envy you but you WILL come out the other side.  |

I must be quite lucky, my eldest was the worst for strops be even he stopped at around 16, none of my other kids really had any and my daughter who is my youngest has never had one, she’s only 12 tho so I might have it all to come. I can’t see it tho, she’s an absolute angel.  |

Our daughter (kevina) was a crufts champion bi**h from her 13th birthday up to her 20th birthday.
Shes 28 now and we are real proud of her but 7 years of crap and an nvq in work avoidance takes its toll if you let it. ??.

The strops were quite impressive when she was younger, at 20 she seems to have grown out of it. Time for little brother to take the teenage strop baton. |
