"At this time of year most of them x"
I'm hoping that, but I don't want to go trapesing from shop to shop and they don't all do them.
I think Primark do but wouldn't think H&M do them.
I'm only going to be wearing them for one trip I think so don't want expensive ones. |

"If you have any idea can you jot it down here please.
Not online shops ta.
Usually those old fashioned underwear shops tucked down a back street but I recently saw some in M&S."
Thank you, I shall put M&S on my list. |

I've not seen any in H&M but TKMaxx may be a good bet. |

Primark do some nice ones. I buy men’s size small and the long sleeved tops are very good. I bought them and the long johns for my ex when he worked in a fish factory that was freezing. He took them to use in Finland because they kept him so warm. |

"Just thought, sports and camping shops too."
I'm not sure there are camping shops where I'm going. I need very large ones too, so has to be a shop that sells men's or plus size for women. |

"Try Lidl or ALDI . Failing that, most markets have a sock/pant/thermal store "
My Lidl might have them but they are only a small store and things sell out very quickly. I can walk there, so it's no hassle to pop in now and then to check. |

There should be a TK Maxx where I'm going I think. I want to go to the shops that definitely sell them first and try others if I have no joy from them. |

"Get them most places.penneys will do them.think ye call it primark
Got mine in dunnes"
Primark sizes are a bit on the small side and the largest sizes of anything always sell out first. Plus, it's like a jumble sale in there sometimes and I hate rummaging. |

"Thermals!?! I'm not even in a cardi yet!
It's for a trip in December in Europe; I don't want to be caught out and freeze to death. "
The other thing you could try are fleece lined leggings. They are really common to find and stupidly warm. They feel weird to wear as you can't feel any breeze past your leg, my daughter loves hers and wears them to disintegration point. |

I've been into Primark sooooo many times...never get past the security desk, too many people, too much mess, too much choice and no clear exit! |

I usually avoid as it stresses me out in there but my grandkids love the Christmas pjs and socks from there. My granddaughter is coming with me tonight and I know she will want to go in there for a rummage. There's just too much stuff for my brain. |

My town centre is crap. I'm going to Lakeside shopping centre in Essex, and can't remember which shops are there. I'll have to Google the list and plan my route.

I don't know if there are any independent shops where I'm going and my local area doesn't have any. |

I'm now dreading going into Primark. I'm hoping, as it's a weekday evening, it won't be too busy. |

I googled 'fleece lined leggings stockists' and it came up with more options than I thought it would. New Look being one of them. |

If they are stretchy I might fit in New Look ones. I know there's definitely a New Look where I'm going. It's having my size that will be a problem. |

I will probably have to get men's sizes from a sports shop."
Why would you think that?
I just did a search and they sell womens thermals there too |

Because a lot of shops either don't stock big enough or the sizing is smaller than usual. |

"Matalan, Go Outdoors . . . To name two"
Neither are at the shopping centre I'm going to tonight, but I can try if I'm not successful this evening. I'm not prepared to pay much for them as they may only be worn once, if at all. |

Give them to one of the homeless charities afterwards. |

Mountain warehouse have a sale on Merino wool base layers at the moment.
The advantage of Merino wool is that it is a natural fibre, so it is soft on the skin. Also it is a natural antimicrobial, which means it deters bacteria and the subsequent odour from sweat. |

It's in one of the retail parks rather than the shopping centre itself, the opposite end from IKEA as you go towards the motorway. |
