It’s a bit like Stonehenge - a bit of history but when you’ve seen it, it’s all a bit ‘ok, well that was nice. Right. Who wants an ice-cream!?’

It’s a good photo op for sure.

There’s a nice bit of countryside near there and it’s close to the Thames so it’s a pleasant enough day trip out.

Its a yew tree aged between 1460-2500 years old, if the latter then it was around prior to the saxons, the magna carta was signed there..

I Ashdown Forest there's a grove of trees that form an arch. If you walk inside its like walking in to a cathedral

Major Oak in Sherwood Forest is impressive but it’s fenced off to protect it so you can’t get close to it.

Leeds + Newcastle

There's the famous Robin Hood Prince of Theives tree on Hadrian's wall aka Sycamore Gap

Bit of a hike up to it but doable and photographs beautifully.

You can also see it from the road if it's pissing down

Dorset. Tolpuddle. The tree the first trade union was formed under. They were transported to Australia for breaking the law...

Maldon

There’s the Kennedy memorial close by, and a lovely coffee shop. If you then go up Coopers hill there is a war memorial - RAF I think, and a great view of London.
