It’s a bit like Stonehenge - a bit of history but when you’ve seen it, it’s all a bit ‘ok, well that was nice. Right. Who wants an ice-cream!?’
It’s a good photo op for sure.
There’s a nice bit of countryside near there and it’s close to the Thames so it’s a pleasant enough day trip out. |

There's the famous Robin Hood Prince of Theives tree on Hadrian's wall aka Sycamore Gap
Bit of a hike up to it but doable and photographs beautifully.
You can also see it from the road if it's pissing down |
