Yep, but I have four small dogs. If I have a meet planned I don’t let them in for a few days prior, have all the windows open for a day and change the bedding etc.
They don’t smell or anything, but ya know |

Unfortunately we got in the habit of letting them on the bed as puppies....now we have 115kg of Doberman pushing us out every morning
Lucky the Rottweiler, frogs and snake stay downstairs haha

Our dog used to, then we swapped bedrooms with our boys, spent a fortune doing the room up and he now sleeps outside our bedroom door and has a tendency to sniff or fart under the door |

My cat has sleot on my bed 24/7 for the last 8yrs... Lazy cat
Once the Chihuahua learnt to climb the stairs - it took a year, I'd come home to find them both curled up together.
Felt mean shutting her up back downstairs after that.
I change my sheets every 2 days.
Black cat, white/pink bedding. Not a good combo

My dog sleeps with me and I would not have it any other way, he is going blind, deaf and has a bad hip, so I keep him close and safe and warm. But he gets clean sheets every other day.. |

Yup
Ours goes and gets in when he thinks it's bed time
We get good night kisses too
Jumps up, gives us both a kiss then buggers off down the other end and gets his head down |

"No it's a pet free zone and I wouldn't get into anyone else's bed who shares it with their pet. Pet smells and hair are a turn off."
Thank goodness someone else thinks the same way as me . I went through the thread thinking there must be something wrong with me !
There’s not a chance I would allow any animal in my bed . I spend eight hours sleeping in there and it’s a clean and fresh environment . I wouldn’t want it covered in cat or dog hairs , not to mention their farts , panting , and dirty paws . |

No you're not alone, the idea is kinda nice but it can be bad enough having a guy in here shedding hair and farting without a pet doing it as well. |

Main reason I don't accom
For many people, their pet is the one constant companion
They are way more than just an animal |

"Do you let your pet(s) on to your bed ?"
Yes.
Was one of the reasons I got a dog.
Therapeutic value (I suffer from Insomnia often) and stress relief, as well as a nice hot water bottle on colder nights
He snuggles up with me when I am going to sleep and I wake up with his nose in my face when he is ready to go for his morning walk. |

The one time we had a "friend" round he spent the dog spent the entire time barking and scratching at the door trying to get in
So you could have a point |
