Do you make your own, or have particular ones you’d recommend?

Quite want to find something a bit quirky.

Last year Mr got me the yankee candle one which was quite a good idea! Theres also beauty ones with make up and other lotions and potions in. Or the range have some where you can pop your own stuff in drawstring bags or drawers!

.

The partner is threatening me with a Lovehoney one where it looks like my arse will gobble up the lingerie.

As far as slightly different ones go, there's a nice Unicef one. You can also buy ones with teabags in it! Teapigs have a lovely one. Or a good stationery one as well - Notonthehighstreet have a really beautiful navy one.

I've been doing a reverse advent calendar.

Every day in September, October and November

I buy cans of food, toiletries and house hold products . At the end of the month make up a hamper and donate it to my local food bank.

These are tough times for families and if a little gesture can help spred a little happiness then go for it

a friend gave me the idea , now the Christmas things are in the shops I add them too.

I'm a lucky chap , my life is rather blessed .

I get quite vexed when I see people going without and struggling. All the families who use the food bank work too they are just finding hard to make ends meet

My parents and my grandparents still buy me one each every year. When me and hubby moved in together they started buying him one too.

I’ve done the Yankee candles one - there’s a Harry Potter one I want this year

Unfortunately there are far too many families finding it difficult these days. Well done Taff. It’s wonderful to support others who are struggling x

To answer the question though. My friend bought a treehouse reverse calendar. Each day you add another piece and at the end of the countdown you (should) have a beautiful ornament.

That's such a lovely idea, I think I'll do that too if I may steal your idea!
