Why would you think they are fake when they clearly aren't interested in you?
No one is obliged to say no thanks..
Maybe they figured you would get nasty for being rejected .. |

Many years ago I was on here as a couple and the only way to stop the same people from constantly messaging you was to block now I’m not saying you are the sort to keep messaging but a lot of men do so it’s easy to just block personally I think it can be rude but as I’ve said as a couple or a single woman you literally get hundreds of messages |

Some of the ladies on here receive many more messages than most men imagine. They would wear fingers away replying to everyone. If you don’t get a reply no need to fret. Lots more in life to get peeved about |

Why are they fake if they block you? If you’d seen the grief some people get for saying thanks but no thanks you’d understand why the block button is useful, it also stops absent minded folk from trying to message again! |

There and to the left a bit |
"Lady’s and Gentleman...Just don’t understand some people on here...there’s more fakes then genuine..why block when you can politely reply no thank you?!? "
Because there's nothing that says they have to reply for a start. Add to that that replying opens up a route round and filters they may set in future and that blocking prevents further messages in future from someone they have decided is not for them and it all starts to make sense |

I block now
Didn't used to but rejection is a mixed bag
Some are lovely
Some think they can break you
down if they message enough
Complimentary stuff
And
Some are downright vile |

Break you down
Like if you say no they bombard with
Lovely messages thinking that will change your mind
It's much nicer than abuse but still quite annoying when you have politely declined |

What is fake about someone blocking you? |

Blocking is easy and stops unwanted messages.
Saying no thanks often starts an argument about why not and then the abuse about how they didn’t want to meet you anyway because you are (insert string of insults here)...
OP stop whining and accept your message was unwanted junk mail |
