Do you have body aches and pains?

Nothing too serious - but just general acheyness ( and grumpyness )

Knees, lower back, shoulders, feet?

I am on my feet around 10hrs a day and I cycle commute to work, well It's around 15 mins

I'm overweight as well which doesn't help

Is it just me?

It's nothing to worry about as it's basic wear and tear...the lower back knees and shoulders will always give you a bit grief but just wear and tear...even the most fittest and flexible have this problem....you have to remember we've been.lumping our body about for 40 years...don't worry xx

Hi S.

Might they aches and pains have something to do with warm ups and downs around your cycling? Maybe try a padded saddle extra insulation around your joints while you ride And then stretch off at the end of each journey.

My number one health kick is regular chiropractic check ups and adjustments.

Best wishes

I've had lower back problems for over 20 years but sadly never been believed, and think I was given fake medication at one point.

It's only in the last say 8 years that has changed but still not been offered an extensive exploration but then I think I have a high pain threshold and just get on with things, though I do think my patience is now wearing thin as even with daily pain killers I still have constant pain and even if I could have a total pain free day just one day a week I would be truly grateful

I can honestly say my knees have never hurt. I messed up my lower back lifting tons of horse feed and hay bales for 50 years, and I injured my hip in an OTT total body class I think, so I need to sleep on the right memory foam now to wake up pain free from those two!

I'm 56 ya know young lady...

Seriously though, I suffer from psioratic arthritis which ain't gonna get better anytime soon. Inflammation of the joints due to crystals forming around them at times renders me about as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest

It's not bad though, as I can at least be mobile most of the time, but some days it takes me about 10 minutes to put a sock on

Nearly 53yrs old and to be honest I'm always grumpy

Aching is only self inflicted,I'm lucky enough not to suffer with joint pains etc.

NEVER in my life 'warmed up or down' lol and would advise people over 30 NEVER to run or jog - not only do most I see run along the side of a road WTF???? pollution negates any befenfits!!!

Running/jogging also promotes saggy breasts, arse and face :o

Short sprints are the way to go and as for cardio - train with free weights and only 30secs rest 20 sets per bodypart MINIMUM....train hard and fast.

To burn fat if that's part of what you seek then during exercise you MUST have your heart rate above 120 for at least 20mins

Life long exercise and healthy CLEAN diet - no drugs ie caffeine, anabolic steroids, medications and the hard stuff - marijuana is NOT a drug it's an herb despite what the so called experts say

I will add on that Anabolic steroids are perfectly safe IF used correctly BUT I wouldn't advise their use unless naturally low test levels OR if you are a bodybuilder/athlete over 60/65yrs...under a Dr's NOT GP - fucking jokes - supervision

Definitely not just you OP.

As others have said, as you get older the body just doesn't work so well. I need more recovery time and do get more general achiness.

I also need more sleep than when I was younger. Whoever said you need less sleep as you get older was wrong

I've changed my exercise routine, to make sure I have a day off for recovery between sessions, that seems to have helped.

"Do you have body aches and pains?

Nothing too serious - but just general acheyness ( and grumpyness )

Knees, lower back, shoulders, feet?

I am on my feet around 10hrs a day and I cycle commute to work, well It's around 15 mins

I'm overweight as well which doesn't help

Is it just me?

Have you had a thyroid function test?

No - I don't think I'm unwell - I just eat and drink too much

Long days of running around like a lunatic doesn't help either.

I need a sitting down job "

Sitting down jobs aren't all they're cracked up to be

I asked because hypothyroidism feels a bit like you describe, especially the aching all over.

Tried to reply to the op Maryfuckingpoppins in forum but my comment came out posted in the middle of their question. I suggested Blackseed oil (google it) it cures many things. I swear by it.

Worthing

I park and walk to/from work every working day. It's about 7 miles a week and no problems so far.

I just had a quick look at sulforaphane- it's worth a go I think.

Thanks for that

I'll also look into the black seed oil.

I have flat feet so I'm sure most of my aches in my feet, knees and lower back is because of them

I was born with stupid feet - but haven't really felt this achey till fairly recently

get some arches, apparently 30 mins of weight bearing exercise and start researching natural stuff to support your body in a preventative way..i was skeptical about the sprouts but im not now.. podcast joe rogan experience with dr rhonda patrick..search for the one she talks alot about it x you are welcome its not something people often talk about..its the brain fog that gets me..sorted with iodine and probiotics (for me)
