Discovered they were turned on in town last night

Usually there's a big fanfare and carnival associated with them, but maybe they were just "on test"

There was hell on when they switched the tree lights on in our village, it blew the power to the corner shop next door, it was off for 9 hours

In chester its next week and here they don't even have the tree up yet..
