If someone saw your pics being used on another profile would you want people to tell you?
For example on a dating site or other similar sites.
If you saw a profile with pics of someone you know would you tell them?
(This is a theoretical question. If it happens on here you can report the profile to Admin.) |

Yes I would like to know and yes I have found someone on here who was using a friends pics and told them.
He was blocked from looking at the profile so I reported it and confronted him about it. Guess what? Still on here and still using fake pics!! |

Not just because someone might be using my pics but also because it might be me using them and I'd like to know that person is also on the other site and it would help me get a better idea of who they are and what they want. |

If there was another profile on here using using my pics then yes..on another site? Well it might be me so I don't see its their business... if I saw a profile with pics of someone I knew? I'd ignore/ block it. I'm not here to interact with people I know from real life. |

Yes I would want to be told if my pics are being misused by someone else. Regarding telling someone else about their photos being duplicated it is a possibly because it can be quiet hard to tell if it is the same persons account or which account is stealing the pics. |

It's happened to me a few times but I realise it can't be stopped. It's just annoying that people create profiles on here pretending to be me with my pics but, kind Fab folk have let me know and they have been reported and dealt with.
I don't really get what these pic thieves achieve. Losers!
I would definitely let people know if I saw it myself. |

I think most who have duplicate accounts here state that the accounts are linked in their profile text. But if you're not sure, tell them anyway.
I've a second account for hosting events (the accounts are linked), but I've never minded anyone telling me if they've seen it and thought it was fake.
With regard to identifying which account was the real one where someone's pics have actually been stolen I suppose difficulties might arise if both accounts were verified, but neither displayed their veris. At least with veris displayed you can see if they've met people you know to be real, or if they've verified themselves from another fake account...  |

Not had pics stolen (no one is THAT stoopid), but I did have my entire profile text nicked off a former profile.
Like, all of it, not a word missed or changed. Just a straight cut and paste. |

Yes I'd want to know if anyone was silly enough to borrow my pics if only so I could point and laugh at their stupidity.
I've let people know when I've seen their pics being used elsewhere too - especially when it's obvious that they've been "borrowed" e.g. there was a t*mblr page a while back that had numerous pics of various people from here on it.
I've also let someone at another site know when a known fake profile on here was using their pics (and again once I was as sure as I could be that the profile here had borrowed them) and they were very grateful that I did.
Appreciate that having pics borrowed or being exposed is a risk we all take when we post pics here but that still doesn't make it right when it happens |

I have been told about someone else using my pics before and managed to get the profile deleted! I have also had my pics from fab put on tum.blr and been told about it but it’s difficult to get them completely removed from there  |

Of course I’d want to know.
This happened to me a few years back where a profile was made purporting to be me and the needs/wants list was disgusting! I wouldn’t have known had someone not told me. It was removed fast however I dealt with the weirdos that profile attracted for ages  |

If we were to see our pic on a profile we’d want to know why and ask it to be removed. Also we wouldn’t want to put other people on ours. It’s our profile not anyone else’s. We wouldn’t even put other people’s pics on if they asked us to. |

Yes I would. I had this happen last year when I was on here, I messaged the lady in question to ask her to take it down and reported it to admin.
Nothing was done.

It would depend on who the person was and how well I knew them. I'd definitely tell a friend. I'd want to know if it was my pics being used elsewhere. |

I've let people know when I've seen their pics being used elsewhere too - especially when it's obvious that they've been "borrowed" e.g. there was a t*mblr page a while back that had numerous pics of various people from here on it.

hey will always get round any ban and be back weeks later doing the same again if they saved your pics on their pc |
