That's a kinda vague question, it depends on so many things, really you're the only person who knows what you've done and how your friend is likely to react.

Have you actually fallen out ie had an argument, or do you just think that you have?

It's easy to get things overblown in your head, when the other person doesn't consider it important.

Then you need to at least attempt to speak to them and find out what if anything is wrong.

If its your mate"a bloke".. Just go for a pint as if nothings happened, it'll sort itself out.

If it's a bird.. Then your in a whole world of complicated shit that will never be left to rest in one way or another... Remedy, go out for a pint with your mate and leave her to it, she, ll calm down once your not there to have a go at, it, ll sort itself out.

I always find that if I've done something wrong, then a sincere and honest apology is required.

One of the worst things to do is not say anything.

The longer you leave it the harder it be becomes and then it maybe irreversible

it’s all you can do, if they’re a true mate they will listen and then the ball is in their court.

It depends on the strength of the previous friendship and the scale of the indiscretion of course, they may be hurt but all you do is offer a heartfelt apology and then it’s up to them whether they accept it or not.

If it’s a dude, buy him a beer.

If it’s a woman,... it’s complicated, so many things you need to learn about how her feelings for you have changed. It’s a minefield, trying too hard makes her despise you for coming across as desperate. If you don’t try enough, she hates you because it’s proof you don’t care etc.

A sincere, prompt apology has always worked for me too.

Might be simple for you but when you don't know what you're apologising for, then is confusing.and complicated.
