that's just reminded me of when i was a teen and my mate had a nose bleed in my room.
he ran into the bathroom and came out with my mums 'minge flannel' across his face
i never did tell him ! |

My temper - I don't lose it very often, I control myself pretty well, but when I do.... I lose all rationale thought and there is absolutely no reasoning with me.

That's a tough question - i suppose i'd have to ask in what enviroment and at what distance!
Outdoors with a clear field of shot it would be my 70lb draw-weight medieval longbow.
Closer in either my 7ft glaive or the poll-axe.
Then there's the falchion (type of heavy bladed sword)
Finally we get to the daggers, my favourite would be the 14" triangular-bladed rondel designed for punching through maille armour.
Does that answer the question?
P.S. i can lay my hands on a 320lb draw lever-activated crossbow but that blows holes in things so not really good in a small enviroment! |

Is he a medieval re-enactor too?
Actually, only the arrows and daggers are sharp - the arrows 'cos i use them for target shooting and the daggers 'cos they are display pieces only.
The rest are combat pieces and we have VERY strict rules about what can and cannot be taken onto the field. You can get hurt very easily with a blunt pole arm when it is 7-9ft long, has a 2ft lump of iron on the end and is being swung by a 15 stone bloke in heavy steel armour so we make sure they aren't sharp as well! |
