More often than not I can’t tell I’m being flirted with even if it comes up and slaps me around the face.
Can you easily spot when someone is flirting with you? Are you good at flirting?  |

Not always. The problem is that I flirt all the time so people tend to mirror that. It just ends up being read as a normal conversation for me.
Often the penny drops when they come on to me and I’m not expecting it  |

i am pathetic at it.
sometimes i think someone is taking the piss when they actually are just being funny.
i cannot read signs and im sure ive made a few think i wasnt interested.
but hey, thats me cant sort it out |

I'm very perceptive so recognise it easily...I also find it quite easy to do... but that doesn't make me very attractive on the fab forum. Apparently I have to be useless at both to get anywhere. That's where I'm going wrong  |

Im pretty good at spotting it in person but its been a while since I had to test the the theory. I also used to make a pretty good flirt. Its all about the lingering looks and smiling isnt it, and having to pick an awful lot of stuff up from floors   |

I'm a total blockhead when it comes to flirting. Maybe it's because of my brash and straightforward personality. I'd find excessive flirting from a girl off putting in the sense that she dare not make the move on me if she could spare so much effort trying to drop signs of flirting on me. |

I had a brief flirt in traffic this morning. Lady driving the opposite direction stopped across from me we look over I smiled a nice big happy smile. She started to respond and the lights changed.  |

Unless someone comes and introduces themselves as Mr/Miss/Ms/Mr&Mrs Flirty from Flirtsville I usually have no clue, and even when they do I often miss it
I'm also one of those people that tends to think of the perfect line 5 minutes after it was needed, so again pretty useless at doing it |

I can tell if someone is trying to flirt with someone else but can’t tell when someone is flirting with me, hence my multiple threads about the guy I work with! I don’t think I’m a very good flirt either! |

Yeah, I'm pretty good at good at picking the signals up. I think some of it comes down to confidence and having the balls to act on it. If you're not that confident then maybe its harder to pick up on as your not looking for the signs or would even act on them.
I have got it wrong on a few occasions though |

You might be onto something. The majority on here lack confidence apparently so that equates with no one being able to recognise flirting or being able to flirt. It's a shame really because it's great fun |

We're hopeless. One lovely patient couple chatted to us in a club, followed us downstairs, threw someone out of a room so we could go in it, and it was only when they closed the door behind themselves with them in the room with us did we start to get an inkling....! We do wonder how many times we've missed an opportunity because we've been too dense |
