Ive never used the term bbw on my profile but have used it so that people knew i wasnt thin. I was a size 26/28 so definetly. But funnily i was having a joke about whether i would be allowed to go to the bbw socials, and a friend and i decided that i would just squeeze in at a size 16 but only 5ft 1 in height.
Years ago it did mean someone size 18 and above but i think over the years it has changed. Majority of high street shops stock up to size 18 in their normal range and not plus sizes. I wouldnt look at someone and think,hey shes a bbw but i personally would go on height/size proportions IF i had to describe a bbw |

Whats a BBW is subjectional to what you like, if you like really big ladies then someone whos a size 16 wont look big to you, however if you like slim women then a size 16 will be a BBW to you, you could ask 10 people what size they class as a BBW and you'd get several different answers
To me, i think a BBW is someone whos BMI is highter than it should be, theres no size or weight as it depends on hight, if you are a size 16 and 5ft your not going to look the same as a size 16 on a 5ft10 women so the number on your label dont really count |
