At the moment I am asking for a lift on Friday, only from people I know in person, who are going anyway and would not be at all going out of their way for me.
I often give lifts to other people too if I am driving. I just see it as being part of the community.
It just doesn't feel like a big deal to me really.
If I'm going somewhere that's nothing to do with Fab and have local friends who are also going, I will offer them a lift also.
Many times I have given lifts to clubs for people who could not possibly get there on public transport.
I'm just trying to give my perspective to the other side of this. |

They are asking for a lift,you aren't obliged to offer that lift.

Your offer sounds genuine to either people you know or to a designated event, what I am talking about is women randomly asking to be given a lift 40 - 50 miles and in the next 10 minutes! |
