I do jive as well, faster the better in that particular style, did do aerial moves but diffocukt finding venue with insurance cover.. Best tango is definately argentine, done well it can be sexy, intimate and exciting without needing much floor area |

Ha dotty, have lap danced for my partner lol... Did salsa for a while, tis sexy but found the music too similar and i have to love the music to be able to express myself... Lots of long split style stretches, so now incorporate a mish mash of different styles to suit the music |

That's the thing. I like the idea of "learning" to dance but I like to just move in whatever way feels right. If I have to follow a routine I just concentrate too much and it doesn't feel natural. |

As I mentioned earlier I love Latin , I have medals for it from when I was much younger ... I'm a retired musician (drums and percussion)and my sense of rhythm is spot on ..even if I do say so myself ... |

Yeah same here, jive was my scaffold, still is, then i listen to the beat, tempo and make it up from there... Danced with a contemporary dancer other week to sound of silence by disturbed... Very slow. We used all the body masses as lean and strength and hold points... Girlfriend said she nearly cried watching... All of it off cuff |

I’d love to be able to do any dance to be honest. I’ve been meaning to see if there are any dance classes near me. I’m not sure I have the nerve to go on my own though. I’ll probably just stick to free styling round my room when I’m alone |

I dance salsa (crossbody style, not Cuban). I love that I can turn up alone, not even be able to speak the same language as the person I’m dancing with, and still connect with them for 3 minutes.
I used to teach and still perform, I absolutely love it. |

I love your passions for dance and to those that wish, don t wish, go and do it... I love dancing with someone the same way i can lose myself alone on a dance floor, eyes closed, rhythm in my soul and just enter a different world.. I ve danced to native African such as Ladysmith... Whoa thats potent music... Its a pity the world seems to be losing that form of expression as new technology takes over tbe average persons daily life... Keep dancing people, let that music keep your body in motion |

Thank you
Yes, that’s what I love about it. Whilst I enjoy choreographed shows I love watching social dancing, and just watching people jam... going back to the roots of dance |

I’d love to do ballroom. But very few tall young men are interested in that. I attended an event last year to check it out.
Most were older than my Dad, and I was too tall to partner with most of them too :/ |

Salsa!!! The real thing, not the overstylised versions that are marketed in this country. Also merengue, cumbia, vallenato, bachata only recently - with a preference to dancing with a Latin American partner who did not have to go to classes to learn. |

For those people who would like to expand their social circle, learn to dance, and keep fit at the same time, be you male or female. I personally would recommend taking up modern jive. Because !!! 1. jive you do not need to go along with a partner. 2. you do not have to learn foot work. 3. You may find love also.
The type of jive that I do is !!! a mash up of, rock n roll, cha cha, salsa, tango and lindy hop, it all depends on what music they are playing.
If you would like to find a dance class near you. Go to. ...

I love dancing Trained in various but would love to learn the Argentine tango! I'm learning hoop, chair and belly dancing at the moment, it's fun fusing those styles together and fun and emotion is what I enjoy most about dancing!

I love dancing and have done salsa, samba, tango, flamenco, belly-dancing and even a bit of Bollywood. Much better way of keeping fit than the gym in my opinion and can be very sociable |

"My latest dance attempt is aerial silks.. Interesting and at times painful or worrying????"
I do aerial classes too and have to admit I find silks hardest out of everything. Corde Lisse is where my preference lies. |

Haha I’m not so bad inverted I just find climbing silks so difficult. No matter how much roisin I use. In fact I could use a whole can of hairspray and I feel sometimes I’d still slide as soon as my feet are off. I just don’t seem to have the grip on them |
