Does anyone else on here manage their own investments? Just awaiting the proceeds from the Sky takeover and looking for some new shares to invest in, anyone got any tips? Thought it would be interesting to see the risk appetite if investors that swing!! |

I have shares in a couple of companies. I was lucky enough to purchase a bunch of legal and general shares during the end of 2008 whilst they were at a super low.
CBD manufacturing companies I feel is worth a risk, with all those Americans going nuts over it |

Wine and women... all for putting some aside but at times if you’ve had a windfall that maybe you didn’t expect then just do something that you wanted to do or go somewhere new

Crematoriums. Plenty of money in that game. With many women’s inability to shut their legs and stop having kids, means the population in the next 80 years will top out at a massive 13 to 14 billion people. Exponential growth and doubling of the population. A lot to burn then and a lot to make. Set up costs for the returns are quite reasonable too. It’s not a sit on your arse and watch the dough role in though. Those type of investments are very few and far between these days. Can get started in 4 days time too |

I have actually tried to set up a crematorium in the past. Getting permission to build one is a nightmare, ended up just building some industrial units! |

Yes i self invest but i don't really believe you can share tips as such. It all depends on your risk profile. I tend to think about industries that fit the profile I want and then buy multiple companies in that industry. Hence I like long-term and stable industries like insurance, defence and consumer goods. |

It isn’t impossible and worth riding planning nightmares out. I guess it ultimately depends on how much you want to do something. Making money isn’t easy these days, you’ve got to grind. |
