I think a lot are struggling guys looking to see what messages other guys send out seeing if they can steal ideas. What makes me think this is message waves come in types with similar messages going round in circles there is no way this happens without guys knowing what other guys send.

Another point on fakes I also think there are more 2nd 3rd and 4th profiles used by one guy I would say these are fake profiles and are far more prolific than female or couple fakes. |

I guess because of my settings I just don’t see guys profiles that much so don’t see them appearing, what happens fake female profiles is that there are idiot guys actually verifying them, does that happen on fake guy ones?? |

Google Reverse Image and TinEye are useful tools for finding people using "borrowed" pics - it's surprising how often they work and just how good some of the fakes are.
There was a single "lady" profile that was around for about 7 or 8 months earlier this year that was incredibly popular, had pics on page one of Hot Pics etc that slipped up one day and posted a pic that reverse imaged - once that happened and the source was found it became obvious ALL "her" pics were borrowed - the profile was reported and eventually removed but "she" has come back with new profiles and different pics a few times and still has an active one, although has yet to slip up again to prove beyond doubt it's a fake.
Why people do it is beyond me - guys posting pics that aren't them is probably to increase their chances of a meet when they would presumably try and explain the difference away somehow or that the meet would go ahead anyway.
Can only presume that those that post pics of women that aren't them get some kick out of the sex chat they inevitably get from desperate men that are taken in by it.
Most of them will stoop pretty low too - one male profile recently was using a pic of a soldier killed in Afghanistan on his profile!!
The only thing we can all do is be aware, use common sense and tools like reverse image to spot them  |

When you ask them why there pic is on various porn sites, this normally outs the fakes |

Yes. A man was using photos from a muscular American man who has a fitness blog on the web and Twitter. He had received a webcam verification from a well verified couples account. How he fooled them I don't know but he was posting on here 150 miles from me at the same time as tweeting from America. |

True. But i also think it's women who have no intention of meeting and just crave attention. Some even use fake pictures once they've been photo verified. I caught one out. I was buying gym wear from an online store and saw her on it. So naturally messaged to say i didn't know you were a model. She had no idea what i ment. Some is also women trying to catch a cheating partner. Also come across that too. I hate drama and lies. Lexi |

Personally I see guys with the same photos they have a profile that goes to 46 so they put up a 2nd at 43 even a 3rd at 39 and they are all verified often by the same person often hidden. if the age alters for me its fake but others may not agree. I would say more than half the fakes on here are 2nd or more profiles to get round being blocked and to get round age limits. |

Lots of fake profiles appearing advertising sex websites or private Snapchats that women want you to pay for. This site needs to do something about it, getting out of control and spoiling it for the genuine folk.
Photo verification within 24 hours should be made standard procedure, profile gets deleted if you don't...should them out somewhat. |

I never get the point of them, shouldn’t it clearly be just as time savvy to set a true one up? All that fake stuff and nothing to personaly gain from it? I know they must get off on it in some way, but I can’t help shake my head muttering the word ‘dick’ when I hear about one. |

A lot of the time it will be blokes pretending to be women in order to get some kind of sexy chat from other blokes desperate to believe that the nubile young thing in the pics is who they are talking to - they'll often post sexually provocative statuses inviting messages of that nature too.
Either that or it's blokes using "borrowed" cock pics because they deludedly think it will increase their chances of a meet - and hope that if it came to one the lady wouldn't notice that they're a couple of inches short, or that they could claim the camera angle made it look bigger.
In fact I'd venture that when it's a ladies profile with fake pics, that 99% of the time it's exactly as I suggested above - I can't imagine many women would use borrowed pics.
The ones that get me though are those that keep coming back with new profiles and borrowed pics despite the number of times they're reported. |
