I've bought a Maoam mix bag, a bag of mini Crunchies and a mixed Swizzels bag.
If I don't get any trick or treaters I'll put them in my grandchildren's Christmas Eve bag. |

"Haribos. In our area I think you have to put some kind of indicator, in your window, that you are happy for them to knock, like a pumpkin "
That might be why no one has knocked.
When I took my lot last year lots of people had sweets who had nothing outside. |

Think it depends where you live. My sister in law loves Halloween. She dresses up to answer the door and decorates the outside of the house. We are in a small village and she had 200 children call last year |

This is true. My daughter is out round our village and she is not allowed to knock anywhere that doesn’t have a pumpkin. My house is covered in Halloween fairy lights . Even the dog is dressed up.

I think its a good idea, there are a lot of older people, who may be frightened of people constantly knocking on their door |

I’ve got Haribos for the minors and mulled Cider for the adults. There’s an acknowledged rule in my village that a pumpkin by your front door means that you’re happy to be involved so I’m looking forward to catching up with neighbours old and new. |

I had 3 packets of swizzles. The first packet was snatched out of my mums hand by some teenage lowlife girl who then punched her in the stomach the second I distributed to two other groups. The third I guess is mine.Is this what Halloween has become a opportunity for low life to attack people? |

Did you call the police?" . I called the 101 non emergency number and I have a crime reference number.Next year I skip the gym so that way I can be home for 5.00 pm instead of 6.15 |

My Mum is ok thank you yeah police have said they will inform neighbors hood watch but as my mum can’t give a clear description and no witnesses all they can do is log it and file it I guess that means unsolved. It seems to me Halloween could become a opportunity for lowlife kids to attack and rob the older generation. |
